The designer’s mission was to set three different sets of lightning (three “SCENES”) and show how with one interior and different lighting, you can feel in different ways:
Use fabric pendant lights over dining room tables and kitchen islands where you want a softer glow for eating and entertaining. Glass shade pendants utilize glass or acrylic to maximize the light output and emit a concentrated light, for specific tasks, like at a desk or work surface.
In formal living and dining areas, research chandeliers wisely: In spaces that a formal chandelier is considered, choose one that will not date your space. Often time’s chandeliers are bought without thinking of the space and the décor that surrounds it.
Children’s lighting is important: Your child will enjoy their room more when they have appealing lighting to enjoy their activities. Overhead lighting should be bright, but not directional into their eyes to produce squinting or a glare.
